Her works reflect on aspects of contemporary life, which through the representation of elements of nature, find the most poetic way of expression. She often finds in the energy of nature, in its richness and grace, in its chaos, a correspondence with human existence, the decisions we make, the attitudes we assume in a complex society. The discovery of the third dimension is a real revelation for her and, approaching sculpture, she creatively experiments with various unconventional materials. Thus fabrics, scraps of painted canvas, sometimes handmade paper, threads, ribbons, to name a few, become fundamental elements for the creation of her latest works. Jorgelina’s collages and installations, full of symbolic sensitivity, evoke an uninterrupted dialogue with the subject. They are visual metaphors that convey poetry and lightness.
